After achieving EGP 600m in returns
Ostool is set to strengthen its land shipping, logistics, and enter the petroleum sector in 2019
In order to establish its leadership in the field of transportation, Ostool Transport and Logistics Company; an affiliate of Raya Holding for Financial Investments; has revealed its new strategy for 2019, with regards to the fields of transportation and logistics.
Tamer Badrawi, CEO of Ostool, states that the company which was established at the end of 2010 with a total capital of EGP 40 million, currently has more than 600 employees and receives an annual profit of nearly EGP 600 million.
In addition, according to Badrawi, the company now owns 250 trucks working in various areas of transport; most notably, cement, glass, wheat, and food distribution.
Badrawi adds: “the company also owns two plots of lands in Suez governorate: One covers an area of 200 thousand square meters in the industrial area of the Suez Canal Axis Development Project including a huge store built on 10.000-sq meters along with a space to be built for manufacturing and storing . The other covers an area of 100.000-sq meters for the storage of coal.”
Such assets, he says, will be used to fulfill the company’s strategic plan to increase its volume of business during 2019 to 10-20% based on the market needs.
At the same time, Badrawi states that the company lays special emphasis on internal shipping within factories and also seeks to expand its services to the petroleum sector in 2019.
